Maya is just one of many, whose undocumented status exposes her to a lifetime of exploitation – poverty, being trafficked, an abusive marriage, gender based violence, no access to education or healthcare.
This video was launched on 25th November, the International Day Against Violence Against Women. The day also kicked off 16 Days global campaign to bring awareness to and call for prevention and elimination of violence against women and children.
